Events at Cabbage Key

Details for hosting a function/event at Cabbage Key:

  • Thank you for considering/selecting Cabbage Key for your special event.
  • Cabbage Key offers several party menu choices for groups of 10 to 200 guests including:  platted breakfast and breakfast buffets, lunch packages, platted dinners and dinner buffet choices.
  • Should you choose to select a plated meal the courses will all be delivered to the tables by our well trained waitstaff.  Staff will also be on hand to take drink orders and guests will be able to order drinks directly from the bar if they wish to do so.
  • Should you choose to select a buffet menu (Dinner & Breakfast only) the buffet table will be fully decorated with lush displays of Island greenery and fresh flowers picked just before your arrival.  The buffet tables will be kept replenished until it appears that all guests have finished.  The Chef will be present at the buffet table to carve and assist guests with any questions they may have regarding buffet items.  At dinner, the appetizer, Shrimp Ceviche and dessert, homemade Key-lime pie will be served at the table not the buffet table. 
  • Once a dinner choice has been selected, a bar package must be chosen to accompany the meal selection.  Cabbage Key offers several beverage options to accommodate the needs of the group.  The options are priced for a stay not to exceed two hours; however, additional hours can be purchased if/as needed.  The full-liquor option includes:  soft drinks, beer, table wines and top shelf liquors; shots and bottle wines must be purchased separately.   Breakfast and lunch beverage packages include a non-alcoholic drink package as an option to accommodate groups not wanting to purchase liquor.
  • Please note that staff meets all dinner groups at arrival with drinks who have booked a full-liquor package to accompany their dinner selection.
  • Live entertainment and boat transportation are not included in package pricing.  We can offer suggestions for boat transportation depending on the area you are coming from should you need boat transportation.  We would be happy to check the availability of local musicians and/or DJ’s should you wish to have live entertainment.
  • In the matter of payment, we require a deposit to book a function/event with the remaining balance due at departure.  We accept Company Check, Visa or MasterCard.  Sorry, we do not accept American Express or personal checks.  A minimum number of guaranteed guests is required by noon three days prior to arrival.  After this time period, the minimum number of guaranteed guests may not be decreased; however, you can add guests as long as you contact us with an updated guest count before arrival.  A confirmation sheet is attached for you to complete and return to confirm this event.
